The last day to submit the MGT-7 Form and file the Financial Statements and Annual Return with Registrars of Companies (RoC) is 31.11.2018.
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs ( MCA ) has postponed the due date and has also relaxed the added charges to be paid on E-forms AOC-4, AOC-4, AOC (CFS) XBRL and e- Form MGT-7.
Every registered firm must file its Form MGT-7 annually. The due date for MGT-7 filing is 60 days after the Annual General Meeting, which must take place on or before 30 September, which means 31 December is the deadline for MGT-7 filing.
Moreover, all companies must file their Financial Statements and submit Form AOC-4 duly signed (only hand-signed) with the Registrar; this is in accordance with the Companies Act.
In the last financial year, MCA has received numerous requests from stakeholders to extend the filing date for FY 2017-18. Taking this and other factors into account, the MCA has waived off additional charges, wherever applicable.
